She was predeceased by : her parents, Wayne Edwards and Edrie Edwards; and her siblings, Jerry Edwards, Noel Edwards, Jeanne Edwards West and William Harry Edwards.

She is survived by : her husband Charlie Boyer; her son Michael Boyer; her daughter-in-law Christine Pampel Boyer; her son Stephen Boyer; and her daughter-in-law Janice Boyer. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and countless dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
