He was predeceased by: his father Duane Everette Rice. He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Millenbruch Rice of Murphy; his sister Terry Kavanaugh of Murphy; his nephew Adam Kavanaugh of Florida; and his niece Amy Saunders of Florida.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel (138 Peachtree St, Murphy, NC 28906).
