The passing of Oscar Valdes in Murphy, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Valdes and Isabel Acosta Pagés; his wife Nancy; his daughter Carmen Gina Carlino; his granddaughter Lauren Ors; and his sisters, Evelia Salabarría and Rosa León.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Herrera (Ruben) of Tampa, Barbara Thorne of Tampa, Gloria Scarinci (Larry) of Blairsville and Tina Valdez of Tampa. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Myrtle Hill Cemetery (4202 E Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610).
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to do so may donate to a charity of their choosing.
