She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Thompson and Mary Berrong Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Donald Jackson of Murphy, NC; her sister Martha Ann Thomspon of Maryville, TN; her aunt Barbara Berrong; her friends, Nancy Chastain Woodard and Jane Blakemore; and her pet Booker.
