He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Karnash-Kolanko and Jean Karnash-Kolanko. He is survived by: his wife Jeaney Howe Kolanko; his sons, Kent Jason Kolanko Sr. (Karen) of Hanahan, Kurt Justin Kolanko of Kokomo, Terence M. Hoffman (Julie) and Michael D. Hoffman of Summerville; his sisters, Longine Mink (Jerry) of Cleveland and Melanie Pomykala of Acworth, Georgia; his grandchildren, Kent Jason Kolanko II, Megan Kennedy, Ashlyn Rhodes, Alex Hoffman, Madalynne "Maddy" Hoffman and Emilia Hoffman; and his great grandchildren, Sean DoBucki, James, Jason Kolanko, Peyton and Hilyard Rhodes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
