She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Forrester and Zannie Forrester; her sisters, Beatrice Forrester and Marie Floyd; her children, Marilyn LeFevers, David Holbrooks and Patsy Deaver; and her great grandchildren, Tashina Welch and Layla Verner.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Holbrooks Taylor (David Rex Taylor); her nephew Edward Floyd (Brenda); her close friend Annette Williams; and her granddaughters, Vera Verner, Cindy Gaddis, Lynn Welch, Jennifer Taylor, Caroline Hickey and Carol Baker. She is also survived by her 12 great grandchildren; and her 17 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Reid's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery (4281 Lower Bear Paw Rd, Murphy, NC 28906).
