He was predeceased by: his father John Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Hortense Pitts; his children, Thomas "Al" Pitts, Jr. and Hazel Lockler (James); his grandchildren, Heather, Devin, Michael, Kenny and Anthony; and his great grandchildren, Jackie, Jeremiah, Julia, Joy, Aliyah, Jahyiah and Maverick.
