We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2022, at the age of 98, Willia Mae Kephart Ferguson of Murphy, North Carolina, born in Cherokee, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Perry and Fannie Mae Allen Kephart; her husband Max Ferguson; her grandson Eric John O'Donnell; her great grandchild Chad Michael Beal, Jr.; and her siblings, Ruby Ramsey, Ethel Greene, Carrie Ramsey Scruggs, Fred Newton and Robert Garland Kephart.
She is survived by: her children, William Ronnie Ferguson (Jan) of Grand Forks, Maxine Ferguson of Murphy and Joy Lee Arthur (Chris) of Blairstown, Missouri; and her sister Betty Kephart Long of Tucker Georgia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Willia Mae Kephart Ferguson to the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 1650 NC-141, Murphy, NC 28906 or to the Cemetery Fund c/o Jim Hendrix at the same address.
