With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William King (Murphy, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Keener King and Robert William King; and his brother Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Hilda King; his children, Jessica King (Josh Deese), Jonathan King (Anissa) and Brian King (Liz); and his grandchildren, Micheala Devine (Charles), Wyatt Hopkins (Sarah), Madelyn King, Foster King, Autumn Orr, Reagan King and Riley King.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bates Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
