It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lovie Lee McCann in Nags Head, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Ward and Grace Gaskill Ward; her son James M. Curles; and her sisters, Bettie Dee Ward and Nancy Ward Meekins.
She is survived by: her husband Andrew Dabney McCann; her daughter-in-law Barbara Curles; and her granddaughter Andie Grace Alvarez (Mike).
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethany Church of Wanchese (101 Old Wharf Rd, Wanchese, NC 27981).
