Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Bernard for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his mother Rita Schwartz; his children, Robert Mace and Laura Mace; and his sister Patricia Mace. He is survived by: his father Bernard Mace; his wife Donna Mace; his brother Ronald Mace (Carol Mace); and his children, Alexander Mace, Christopher Mace and Megan Yeniscavich (Alexander Yeniscavich). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Funeral and Cremation Service (4690 East Coast Ln, Shallotte, NC 28470). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Happy Home Baptist Church (2670 Happy Home Rd, Nakina, NC 28455).
