He is survived by: his children, Billy Joe Gore (Leslie) of Nakina, NC, Christopher Lewis Gore (Melony) of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Sheila Smith of Laurinburg, NC; and his grandchildren, Michael Curtis Gore, Matthew Smith, Sam Smith, Cody Smith, Seth Davis and Jessie Evans.
