He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Russell Canady and Elmarie Prince Canady; and his wife Vivian Pierce Canady. He is survived by: his children, Guy Russell Canady Jr. (Christy) of Nakina, NC. and Clarissa Handlos (Steve) of Gray; his sister Gail Norris (Vern) of Columbia, SC.; his grandchildren, Katelyn Grace Connor (Steven), Lauren Graye Canady, Summer Handlos, Sierra Handlos and Dylan Handlos; and his great grandchild Rylee Graye Connor.
