He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Sarvis and Albertine Lizzie Fipps Sarvis; and his brother Roy Sarvis. He is survived by: his wife Polly J. Sarvis; his children, Jessica Sarvis Prince (Johnny), Dewayne Sarvis (Madeline), Jason Sarvis (Carlena) of Jonathan, Lisa Jones, Vicky Godwin and Ashley Jones; his grandchildren, Casandra Stalvey, Taylor White, Selena White, Casandra Sarvis, Allyssa Sarvis, Savannah Watson, Breanna Jones, Nicholas Faulk, Zachary Faulk and Tyler Long; and his siblings, Frank Sarvis (Rhonda) of Murphy, Mary Alice Clewis of Nakina, Betty Long (Russell) of Nakina and Marilyn Ansbach of Nakina.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Hosea Simmons Cemetery.
