He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Horne and Willie Mae Britt Horne; and his grandsons, Evan Ray Gore and Wesley Grant Gore. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hood Horne; his children, Corey Horne of Nakina, NC and Tiffany Gore (Allen) of Nakina, NC; his grandchildren, Ethan and Katie Gore; and his siblings, Claudette Walker (John) of Birmingham, AL, Phyllis Watson (Melvin) of Supply, NC, Kenneth Horne (late Yvonne) of Garner, NC and Robert Horne (Cathie) of Willow Spring, NC. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
