She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Eason and Betty Shaw Sugg. She is survived by: her siblings, Donnie Peele, James Peele, Leon Peele, Linda Peele and Teresa Eason; her grandchildren, Allie Gibson and Mason Ashley; her former husband Kevin Douglas Reason; and her close friend Ron Israel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barnes Hill Ofwb Church (5592 West Mount Drive, Nashville, NC 27856). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
