With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Allen Richardson of Nashville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ernest Allen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ernest Allen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Richardson; his son Edwin Antonio Richardson of Nashville, NC; his grandchildren, Crystal Harrison (Norman) of Winterville, NC and Carl Blackmond of Spring Hope, NC; and his sisters, Cleo Riddick of Cary, NC and Joyce Blackmon of Nashville, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William Toney's Funeral Home (516 S Poplar St, Spring Hope, NC 27882). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church (1104 Taylor's Store Rd, Nashville, NC 27856).
