He was predeceased by : his father Benjamin Theophilus Jordan; his former life partner Nora Hudson Jordan; his wife Pattie "Pat" Bowen Jordan; and his siblings, Perlin Landen, Juanita Landon, Velma Kemp, Edith Gardner, Mittie Gorham, Littie Capps, Bernice Everette and Otha Jordan.

He is survived by : his sister Barbara Moss; and his friend Ricky Holloman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
