She is survived by: her husband Floyd Lucas; her sons, Floyd Lucas, Jr. of Raleigh, Lamone Curry (Tonya) of Raleigh and Cclanus Curry (Gwen) of Raleigh; and her siblings, Virginia Powell (George) of Rocky Mount, Betty Bryant (Sam) of Rocky Mount, Bernard Young (Wanda) of Rocky Mount, Carl Young (Ruby) of Whitakers, Godfrey Young of California and Than Young (Margaret). She is also survived by several grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William Toney's Funeral Home Inc. - Spring Hope (516 S Poplar St, Spring Hope, NC 27882). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bunn Chapel Baptist Church (4218 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Nashville, NC 27856).
