William Monroe Lindsey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Monroe Lindsey (Nashville, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ernest Lindsey (Appie Brooks Lindsey) and Beulah Mae Lindsey; and his brothers, Aster "Blossom" Lindsey and Rudolph Lindsey. He is survived by: his children, Susie Coggins (Don), Bill Lindsey (Lisa), Aubrey Farmer (Kathy) and Mike Farmer (Cathy); his sister Alberta Cobb; his second marriages, Bonnie Farmer Winstead (Todd) and Tracy Farmer Shearin (Keith); and also Lindsey. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren; his bonus children.
