It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Avery Jamison of Nebo, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Donald Avery may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald Avery touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fate Jamison and Annie Maney Jamison. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Ellen Sanders (Stephen); his siblings, Frieda Walker (John) and Howard Jamison; and his siblings' children, John Walker (Belyda), Brian Walker (Leni), Howard Jamison, Jr. (Alma), Mike Jamison (Teresa), Bob Jamison (Pam) and Debbie Horres (Stratton).
