He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leland King and Masa Akutsu King; and his sister Marie King. He is survived by: his wife Sue King; his children, DeAnnedrea Negley (David), Landon King (Chloie), Kristen Moore (David) and John King; and his siblings, Mieko Akutsu (Gentry) and Jerry King (Tammy). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
