He was predeceased by: his former wife Lois Wilkerson Sigmon; and his siblings, David Sigmon, Clarence Sigmon, Pat Woody and Jaunita Dixon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bristol Sigmon; his children, Gene Sigmon (Victoria), Dennis Sigmon (Melissa), Annette Sigmon and Donna Grigg (Terry); his stepchildren, James Craig Bristol, Jeff Bristol (Patty), Richard Bristol, Jeremy Daniel Bristol (Maggie), Laura Smith (Jeremy) and Lisa Patton; and his brother Bill Sigmon. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
