He is survived by: his mother Norma Carpenter Vance of Burke County; his girlfriend Linda Woodby; his siblings, Randy Vance of Lenoir, Rickey Vance of Marion, Sandy Reynolds of Nebo, Raymond Vance of Alma and Sara Hobbs of Granite Falls; and his pet Shorty. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
