We announce the death of Betty Billings of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 70. Betty will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Grant and Opal Grant; and her siblings, Eugene Grant, Charlie Grant, Jr., Kenneth Grant, Ernest Grant, Debbie Warren, Wanda Jones and Faye McKown.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Billings (Stacie); her grandchildren, Dayton Billings (Mikala), Summer Ipock (Chandler), Devon Billings (Allona) and Aleena Billings (Collin); her great grandchildren, Everly, Jasper, Malia, Mallory and Paisley; and her siblings, Brenda Mixon, Shirley Todd and Willie Grant (Janice). She is also survived by many extended family members, friends, coworkers.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel (900 River Rd, New Bern, NC 28562).
