He was predeceased by: his brother Todd Austin Herring; and his grandparents, Allie Ray, Lula Herring, Junius and Marion Austin.
He is survived by: his parents, June and Ray Herring; his daughter Heather Christine Jones (Jeremy) of California; and his grandchildren, Eric "Trey" Johnson and Yvette Lynn Johnson of California.
