It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Thomas Powell (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Sam Powell and Bertha Powell; his wife Addie Powell; his children, Freda Bullock (Bob), Major Charles Powell (Paula) and Darlene Nanney; and his sisters, Major Dorothy Sipe and Peggy Higgins. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
