He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora Madeline (White) and David Walker Wear III; his pet Kasey; his cousins, John Mitchell and David Mitchell; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Balla and Terry Nicolini.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Hogan; his daughter Kiersten Jones (Matt); his stepgranddaughter Jennifer; his mother-in-law Ellen Hogan; his brother David Walker Wear IV (Nancy); and his nieces, Tami Wear and Kris Wear Strain (John). He is also survived by cousins, as well as brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to ASPCA, St. Jude Research Hospital or Wounded Warriors.
