In the vast expanse of eternity, Daniel Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Daniel Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, U. C. Atha (Bo) and Hazel Lile Atha of West Plains, MO; his wife Elizabeth Ann Sears (Bettie); and his siblings, Dr. Larry Atha of Huntsville, AL and Loretta of West Plains.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Williams of Bend; his grandchildren, Michael Conn (Xandra) of Bend, OR, Christie Matlock (Ben) of Ada, OK, Zeke Atha (Elise) of Paris, KY and Zack Atha of New Bern; his sister Brenda Jackson (Rob) of West Plains, MO.; and also Matthew Atha (Monica) of New Bern. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
