With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Marie Lockhart (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Jensen and Marie Jensen; and her husband Eric Lockhart. She is survived by: her children, Linda Pennington, Jeff Lockhart (Rebecca) and Cindy Mooney (Rob); her grandchildren, Michael, Janell, David, Danny, Caroline, John and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Summit, Emerson, Jack, Roman, Eleanor, Elizabeth, August, Asher and Peter.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness and service in her memory.
