She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Rock Showers (Charles Henry Johnson) and George Showers; her siblings, Virginia Greenhow, Isabelle Morris and Harold Showers; and her son Charles Kevin Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Henry Johnson; her daughter Felicia Johnson-Sparks; her sister Estella Atis (Manel); her daughter-in-law Jessie Johnson; her granddaughters, Tiesha Johnson and Francis Graham; her great grandchild Paisley Olivia Graham; her niece Denise "Dede" Green (Reggie); and her close friends, Sandra Crooms, Violet Hargett, Larry, Sheila Tripp, Ryan, Tyreka Osbourne, Tim, Candy Talmage, Joe, Nancy, Andy Weeks, James, JoAnne White, Cliff, Valerie Jordan and Anne Lucas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and spiritual brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (2750 Amhurst Blvd, New Bern, NC 28562).
