He is survived by: his wife Mary Kornegay Hill; his sons, Steven Hill of New Bern and Kevin Hill (Evelyn) of New Bern; his grandchildren, Sarah Hill, Justin Hill and Ashley Hill; his great grandchildren, Justin Hill, Jr., Ella Hill, Charlie Borg, Maxine Hill, Trey Williams, Mark Dixon and Mason Durham; and his siblings, Larry Hill (Linda) of New Bern, Jimmy Hill (Charlene) of Reelsboro, Margaret Murphy (J. K.) of Spring Garden, Frances Edwards of Spring Garden and Patricia Hill of New Bern. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
