It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Taylor Daniels of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Joyce find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lonnie Daniels. She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Daniels (Kathy) of New Bern and Terry Daniels of New Bern; her sister Gail Cramer of Fairfax, VA; her grandchildren, Tammy Guggino (Tommy) and Christopher Daniels (Crystal); her great grandchild Trey Guggino; and her friend Kathy Young. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
