It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy Overton Hatem of New Bern, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry (Bertice Overton) and Judy. She is survived by: her son Christopher Michael Hatem (Jami); her brothers, Lionel Overton (Valorie) and Rodney Overton (Melissa); her granddaughter Crislynn Marie Hatem; and her nieces, Tiffany Overton Johnson and Sarah Overton Temple.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
