She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Howard and Lunie Howard; her husband James B. Taylor Sr.; and her sons, Robert Taylor and James Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Taylor of Vanceboro, Linda Vincent of Cove City and Joyce Wells of New Bern.
