She was predeceased by: her parents, Erastus Phillips and Mabel Phillips; her former husband Vernon E. Wright; her husband Richard F. Lang; and her siblings, Joseph R. Phillips and Rebecca J. Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly K. Lee (Thomas), Mark B. Wright, Joseph B. Wright and Lisa G. Prather; her grandchildren, Jeremy R. Lee, Rita F. Costello (Lee), Faith M. Talley (Wright), Jimmy J. Banks and Chase L. Jones; and her siblings, James "Jimmie" B. Phillips and Judith "Judy" M. Tosto. She is also survived by many loving family members and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Greenleaf Memorial Park Lakeside Chapel (900 River Rd, New Bern, NC 28562).
