Margaret leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Margaret’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Margaret will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parent Marjorie Butts. She is survived by: her husband Jim Gignac; her daughter Khryse Flugaur (Nick); her granddaughter Cambree Flugaur; her stepson Dan Gignac; and her brothers, Steve Butts and Jim Greenlee.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560).
