He is survived by: his son Michael, Jr. (Katie); his fiancée Victoria "Jackie"; his father Robert Liland; his stepmother Eleanor Liland; his mother Ruth Bederski; and his siblings, Bobby Liland (Dee), Kathleen Ballew (Pat), David Liland (Anna) and Kelly Clark (Greg). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cotten Funeral Home (2201 Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28560). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
