He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Evans and Pauline Anthony Evans. He is survived by: his children, Terry Evans of Washington, DC, Reginald Evans of Washington, DC, Sabrina Satterwhite of Durham, NC, Sandra E. Evans of Washington, DC, Sheila Cephus of Durham, NC and Alisa Mike of New Bern, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Inc. (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (900 Lloyd St, Tarboro, NC 27886).
