Nannie Deaver Obituary

She was predeceased by: her daughter Donna Joy Farmer (Jeff); her husbands, Carl Hawkins and Herman Deaver; her sisters, Doris Suggs and Marie Hardy; and her parents, Harvey Sutton and Ava Sutton.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Hawkins Lee of New Bern and Curtis Hawkins (Debbie) of Cove City; her grandchildren, Jeremy Lee (Stephanie), Amanda Holsopple (Ryan), Dustin Lee (Andrea), Chris Hawkins (Danielle), Brittany Arthur (Steven) and Kimberly Ledbetter (John); and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Gianna, Peyton, Parker, Tinsley, Brentt, Estella, Eliza and Isaac. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews with several special cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Garner Funeral Home (209 W Peyton Ave, Kinston, NC 28501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Cove City Cemetery (325 White Ave, Cove City, NC 28523).
