She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel Szurgyjlo and Katherine Szurgyjlo; her husband George; her grandson James George Rivas; and her siblings, Pete, Andrew, Joseph, Donald, Thomas, Bessie Fecondo and Sophie Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Mikul (Reuben) of Havelock, NC. and Mary Ann Quinn (John) of Havelock, NC.; her grandchildren, Christopher Mikul, Katherine Clark (Wade) and Michelle Colaw; her great grandchildren, Eric Mikul (Hannah), Waylan Clark (Skylar), Taylor Castleberry (Zachery), Katelyn Clark, Thomas Williams (Kyle) and Megan Williams; and her great great grandchildren, Sophia Mikul, Ariella Clark, Easton Castleberry, Kailani Clark, Era Clark and Jordon Mikul. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and most recently to her great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Boys Town of America.
