Pearl Hill Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Pearl Hill (New Bern, North Carolina) is shared. Pearl, born on August 12, 1942, passed away on September 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bell and Mable Riggs; her husbands, Will "Bill" Anderson and Lewis Hill; her siblings, Alvin Bell, Herbert Bell, Jessie Bell, Lila Mae Bell and Eula Gray Dugee; her stepchildren, Judy Gladson, Annie Gaskins, Billy Anderson, Jack Anderson, Joe Anderson and George Anderson; her granddaughter Paige Ryan; and her great grandchild John Reid.
She is survived by: her daughter Letha Ryan (Mark); her stepdaughters, Frances Kite and Annette Warren; her grandchildren, Wesley Willis (Tammy), Stephanie Brown (Curtis), Courtney Smith (Dominic), Jade Ellis (Dillon) and Amber Ryan (Kasheem Reid); her great grandchildren, Chelsey Ridings (Jacob), Wesley Willis, Jr., Layla Forbis, Pearl Brown, Addison Smith, Wyatt Brown, Riley Smith, Blakely Smith and Raylan Ellis; and her son-in-law Steven Simpson. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the New Bern Shrine Club (2102 S Glenburnie Rd, New Bern, NC 28562).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Trisomy 18 Foundation (trisomy18.org (http://trisomy18.org)).
