He was predeceased by: his parent Pierre E.; and his siblings, Carolyn Dieter and Michael Winkler. He is survived by: his parent Mary Estelle Lindsay Winkler; his wife Cynthia L. Winkler; his children, Cory Winkler of New Bern, Kristina Winkler of New Bern, Kayla Winkler of Nashville, TN and Hillary Borger of Tuscon, AZ; and his grandchildren, Zachary Foster and Miranda Foster.
