He is survived by: his wife Pam Gaskill; his children, Melissa Garland (David) of Dunedin, Scott Gaskill (Wendy) of Atlanta, Georgia and Molly McKinley (Jen) of Apex; his grandchildren, Olivia, Claire Garland, Jordan, Eliza Gaskill, Connor, Cate, William McKinley, Jameson and Ellis Strombotne; and his siblings, Kathy Miller (Jim) of Gulf Breeze, Florida and David Gaskill of Christiansburg, Virginia.. He is also survived by Pops to his children and a beloved Pop-Pop to his grandchildren.

Instead of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Heart Association.
