He was predeceased by: his sisters, Lillie Priest and Wilma McDow; his son-in-law Raymond Shaffer; his grandsons, John Bryan Harrington and Joseph Wayne Lewis; and his parents, Yancey Barbour and Mattie Barbour.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Deborah Shaffer and Kimberly Barbour; his grandchildren, Courtney Bates-Frazier, Cassidy Barbour, Billy Kyle Lewis and Heather Ann Lewis; his great grandchildren, Jordyn Bates, Alaiyah Frazier, Zachariah Frazier, Carmen Lewis, Alana Lewis, Kylen Lewis, Kade Lewis and Trey Lewis; and his siblings, Doris Bailey and Emmitt Earl Barbour.
