He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Melbourne Bishop and Ruth Hooper Bishop; and his in-laws, Eddice and Martha White McPhail King. He is survived by: his wife Marianne King Bishop of Mount Olive; his brother Richard L. Bishop (Jennifer) of Wrentham, Massachusetts; his nephew Jeffrey Bishop (Pattie); his niece Mary Rose (Christopher) of Massachusetts; his goddaughter Erin Brette Davis Harris (Robert) of Warsaw; and his close friend Brian Walker of Glasgow, Scotland.
