He is survived by: his wife Melissa Dixon; his children, Jordan Johnson (Chris), Morgan Melton (C. J.), Chelsea Zogopoulos (Neil) and Robert "Rob" Dixon IV; his parents, Robert "Bobby" Dixon, Jr. (Sylvia) and Margaret Ferebee (Burt); his brothers, Ed Dixon (Nicole) and Alan Ferebee (Tammy); his grandchildren, Cooper, Tucker Johnson, Crew, Sloane, Nash and Fort Melton; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Sutton (Paylay), Tyler Dixon, Mia Dixon, Sara Ferebee and Whitley Ferebee; and his great-nieces, Naomi and Jean Sutton. He is also survived by extended family members of the Lynn family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Museum of New Bern.
