He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles MacLean and Agnes Morency MacLean; his brother Gordon MacLean (Buz) of Gainesville, FL; and his daughter Deborah S. Spyker. He is survived by: his wife Connie J. MacLean; his sons, Gregory S. MacLean (Karen), Todd D. MacLean (Geoff), Brian K. MacLean (Shinobu) and Brent E. MacLean (Lynne); and his stepdaughter Kristen Rutledge Gray (Jake). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (400 New St, New Bern, NC 28560).
