Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ronald Douglas Hardison (New Bern, North Carolina), who passed away at the age of 85, on August 6, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Ronald Douglas is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ronald Douglas' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hardison and Evelyn Brinson Hardison; his brothers, Albert, Alvin and Charles Hardison; and his stepson Bruce Holton.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Holton (Marie), Leone Holton Lewis and Beverly Hardison Guimbal (Glynn). He is also survived by five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Christian Church (6055 NC-55, New Bern, NC 28560).
