She is survived by: her family, Laura Nihoa McGraw of New Bern, Shirley Nihoa Osborne (Tim) of New Bern, Emily Nihoa Bagley (Mike) of New Bern, Michael Ernest Nihoa (Rosalind) and Beatrice Nihoa-Walter of Stuttgart; her sister Laura Colombo; and her pet Sadie. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
